The City of Bellevue is seeking Swim Instructors at the Bellevue Aquatic Center. Hours and Pay

Hours: Morning, afternoon, evenings, and weekends
Pay Rate: $19 $24.22 per hour, depending on experience

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old
• Active lifeguard certification required for 15-year-olds
• Preferred: Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with patrons
• Criminal background check required

Physical Demands

Ability to swim 300 yards, submerge to 13 feet, and lift up to 20 pounds. Work environment may be noisy and involve physical activity.

Additional Information

Consider taking Lifeguard Training Classes offered at the center. This is a variable, part-time position with hours averaging 28 per week or less, and may vary weekly.
