Base pay range

$28.00/hr - $36.00/hr

A midsize CPA firm in Bohemia, New York, is seeking a Tax Administrator to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to support a dynamic accounting team, manage client tax documentation, and contribute to efficient tax preparation processes in a collaborative environment. Job Function

• Maintain and update client records in firm systems.
• Organize and manage tax files, both digital and physical.
• Track the status of tax returns and ensure timely processing and filing.
• Assemble tax returns and supporting documents for client delivery (electronically or hard copy).
• Schedule tax appointments and manage calendars for tax professionals.
• Gather and verify client information prior to tax preparation.
  

Job Requirements

• Prior Administrative Assistant experience.
• Previous CPA firm experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, printing, scanning, and faxing.
