Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Our client is a dynamic and growing global organization in the Chicagoland area, seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This role allows you to take charge of key accounting and finance tasks. You will collaborate closely with leadership on financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant

• The Senior Accountant will handle account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• The Senior Accountant will analyze trends, research discrepancies, and provide reporting to leadership
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Work with large data sets to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Partner with internal teams to improve processes and workflows
• Contribute to projects that enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations
• Ensure GAAP compliance and support audits.
  

Qualifications For The Senior Accountant

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 37 years of accounting experience with strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros)
• Ability to identify discrepancies, validate data accuracy, and provide solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
