Our client, a national labor and employment defense law firm, is seeking a seasoned Employment Defense Associate Attorney to join their team. The firm represents employers in complex workplace matters, including wage and hour class actions, PAGA claims, discrimination and harassment allegations, wrongful termination, and CA state labor law compliance. The firm is known for high-quality legal work and a collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Represent employers in wage-and-hour matters, PAGA claims, discrimination and harassment allegations, wrongful termination, and compliance with California labor laws. Manage cases from inception to resolution or trial, including strategy development, discovery, and briefing. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents; collaborate with partners and associates to deliver excellent client service. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials. 5+ years of experience in employment law defense, particularly wage and hour and PAGA matters. Ability to manage cases from inception to resolution or trial. Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar. Strong writing, analytical, and case management skills. Stable professional history with limited job transitions. Base pay range
$180,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr What’s in it for you
