The

Director of Credentialing & Payor Relations

role is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing payor relationships and payor reimbursement to support practices in achieving 15% YOY growth. The role will also oversee the efficient and optimal process for credentialing and recredentialing provider as well as optimization of UCR fees.

Responsibilities

Enhance Imagen’s position in the market by building and maintaining strong relationships with applicable payors Be the subject-matter expert (SME) on fees, contract structure and rate structures. Regularly conduct UCR and Fee Analysis, making recommendations for updates to optimize reimbursements. Oversee the negotiation or renegotiation of payor contracts as well as credentialling partners Report market opportunities, monitor significant changes, and advise the leadership team accordingly Assist with reporting needs for budget purposes, revenue projections and long-range planning Research payors and rates in new markets Serve as liaison with Revenue cycle and other operational departments Address operational issues with payees by proactively identifying issues, and soliciting information and feedback from Revenue Cycle People Leader

Qualifications

5+ years previous experience in related role Excellent relationship management skills Excellent negotiation skills with proven track record Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment Strong leadership ability and communication skills Smartsheet experience a plus Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
