Solutions Provider | High-Impact Pre-Sales Role
A top-performing, Technology Solutions Provider & MSP is seeking a
Senior Solutions Architect
to lead pre-sales efforts focused on
Enterprise Networking, Cybersecurity, and Next-Gen Data Center
solutions. This regional role will serve mid-market Commercial and Enterprise clients across the greater Chicago region. This high-impact, client-facing role will engage strategic accounts, helping architect complex solutions that strengthen network resiliency, safeguard critical systems, and modernize data center operations. Were looking for a seasoned technologist who combines deep technical credibility with strong business acumen and polished client-facing skills. HYBRID REMOTE ROLE:
Work remotely from home, meet clients onsite, and collaborate in-office with peers in the Sales, Pre-Sales & Delivery teams. Why Youll Want This Role Elite Client Base:

Enterprise Networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless), Cybersecurity (NGFW, Zero Trust, , SOC), and Modern Data Center Leading client whiteboard sessions, architecture reviews, and executive briefings to align technical solutions with strategic business outcomes Developing technical roadmaps, solution designs, and ROI/TCO models to demonstrate business value Building
bills of materials (BOMs), scopes of work (SOWs), and solution proposals
in partnership with sales Engaging OEM and channel partners (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VMware, Dell, etc.) to deliver best-in-class integrated solutions Participating as a subject matter expert in client workshops, partner events, and industry briefings Staying current on
emerging technologies
in networking, cybersecurity, automation, and next-gen infrastructure What You Bring 8+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or consulting focused on
Data Center, Networking & Security Strong expertise across
routing & switching, wireless, SD-WAN, firewalls, intrusion prevention, and security architectures Experience designing solutions across
virtualization, storage, backup, and converged infrastructure Certifications strongly : Cisco CCIE/CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, VMware VCP/VCAP, CISSP, etc. Excellent communicator, able to present confidently to both C-level leaders and technical stakeholders Passion for learning, growth, and delivering business outcomes through technology Benefits & Perks Competitive base + bonus structure Full
