Infosys is seeking a
Senior Industrial/Discrete Manufacturing Domain Consultant.
You will be a key player in the consulting team. You will create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of
Richardson, TX/ Raleigh, NC/ Indianapolis, IN/Tempe, AZ/Atlanta, GA (preferred)
or be willing to relocate to the area. Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply. Relevant experience as a domain / business consultant or Business Analyst or an industry practitioner in manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications: Business analyst / Product Owner. Functional domains include Tendering, Commercial operations, Maintenance, Repairs & Overhaul, Field Services Management, Asset Management, Install base Management for heavy equipment / turbomachinery industry. Experience in IT application development projects. Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma, PMP, etc., are advantageous. Experience with packages from SAP/Oracle/Salesforce/Maximo is preferred. Experience working with MRO, Asset Management, or FSM solutions for large industrial / turbomachinery clients. Hands-on experience with business requirements management tools like JIRA / Rally. Experience in sales, aftersales, production management, finance, and leasing. Strong analytical skills to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Ability to lead meetings/workshops with senior client executives and articulate project documents clearly. Exposure to outsourcing and offshoring work models is a plus. The job may require sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face is expected. Travel may be required.
