Overview
Senior Consultant - Discrete MFG at Infosys. You will be a key player in the consulting team, creating detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implementing the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Responsibilities
Create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts. Develop and implement deployment plans. Support knowledge transfer to enable clients to adopt solutions effectively. Engage with clients to understand business needs and translate them into actionable project documents and requirements. Lead or participate in workshops and meetings with senior client executives and cross-functional stakeholders. Required Qualifications
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX/ Raleigh, NC/ Indianapolis, IN/ Tempe, AZ/ Atlanta, GA (preferred) or be willing to relocate to the area. Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply. Relevant experience as a domain/business consultant or Business Analyst or an industry practitioner in manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications
Business analyst / Product Owner experience. Functional domains Tendering, Commercial operations, Maintenance, Repairs & Overhaul, Field Services Management, Asset Management, Install base Management for heavy equipment / turbomachinery industry. Also worked in IT application development projects. Certifications such as Six Sigma, PMP; working knowledge of SAP/Oracle/Salesforce/Maximo or similar packages. Experience in MRO, Asset Management or FSM solutions for large industrial / turbomachinery clients. Hands-on experience with requirements management tools like JIRA / Rally. Experience in Sales and aftersales, Production management, Finance & Leasing, etc. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret customer business needs and translate into application and operational requirements. Experience in driving meetings/workshops with senior client executives and stakeholders, and documenting projects clearly. Exposure to outsourcing and offshoring work models is preferred. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Travel may be required as per job requirements. About Us
