Core Responsibilities :
Integrate with Navy-focused Financial Management (FM) Systems Sustainment Team by providing authoritative SMP input to enhance accuracy of sustainment activities: desk guide creation; training; business process creation Research functional issues and provide SMP support related to Navy ERP and GFEBS functional areas: Funds Allocation/Budget Distribution Incoming and Outgoing Funding Advanced Sales Orders Sales Orders Cross Command Contracts (CCC) Direct Cite/Reimbursable Funding (when are they used) Internal/External Outgoing Funding Documents Procurement ZTRN Purchase Requests/Obligations (PR/PO) ZSPS Contract PR/PO Bulk Obligations (including TAC) Travel (DTS & Non-DTS) MILSTRIP P-Card Daily Disbursement Expenditure File (DDEF) error code diagnosis, prevention, and correction Assist in developing Navy ERP and GFEBS training materials; perform instructor-led functional trainings Participate in weekly office hours and address user questions via email Perform internal knowledge transfers to help the FM Systems Sustainment Team address user questions accurately and efficiently Validate and refine process flows; help solution technical/process challenges
Attributes and Qualifications:
Previous/current Navy experience (5+ years) Previous/current SAP experience, including (1) Navy ERP and (1) GFEBS (in order of priority) (5+ years) Strong foundation in basic Navy FM policy Ability to speak authoritatively on functional processes, providing the client and team with sound advice to correct/enhance ways of working in SAP Experience in SAP funds management and other SAP functionality impacted by funds management Highly responsive and communicative; comfortable working as part of a team and with end users Preferred (but not required): Familiarity with DMLSS, G-invoicing, DCPDS, DCPS Familiarity with Labor and Workforce Management (WMF) processes Open to travel
Salary Range $80,000 to $160,000
