Salesforce Administrator
The City of Fresno is seeking a skilled and certified Salesforce Administrator to join our Information Services Department. This critical role involves managing user accounts, creating and running reports and dashboards, training staff, and designing applications within the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities in this position will include overseeing the 311 system, serving as a project manager for system upgrades and implementing new modules and features. Acting as a liaison between the 311 system and department staff. Developing complex applications across various divisions, with a focus on improving business processes and system adaptability. Candidates with a proficient background in day-to-day operations of salesforce, and Mulesoft is desirable. A vacancy currently exists in the Information Services Department. Immediate and future vacancies will be filled from this eligible list for a period of three (3) months from the date the eligible list is created, with the option of extending that period at the City's discretion. Should the competitive process be suspended for this recruitment, the eligibility list may be limited to three (3) months. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications on or before the posted filing deadline in order to qualify for the examination. Two (2) years of experience equivalent to that of a Programmer/Analyst III, Computer Systems Specialist III, or Network Systems Specialist with the City of Fresno or five (5) years of experience which included the preparation and analysis of business applications, Internet, project management, web design, or GIS programming; AND graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with major course work in computer applications and systems, decision science, information management, industrial technology, geography, planning, civil engineering or related field. Oral Examination - 100%: A panel of subject matter experts will conduct a job-related oral examination to evaluate each candidate's knowledge of principles and methods used to develop GIS, Internet and/or business systems applications; ability to analyze and evaluate problems and make recommendations; train and provide lead direction and establish effective working relationships; or other topics related to a candidate's training, experience and qualifications for the position of Programmer Analyst IV.
