Overview
Title : Senior Omni Planner
Location : Washington, D.C.
Salary : Competitive salary and benefits package based on qualifications; classified as full-time salaried; exempt and not eligible for overtime.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior Omni Planner who is responsible for assisting in planning responsibilities for both our Ecomm and Brick and Mortar retail channels, specifically through strategic merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, and actionable reporting and insights. This individual assists in managing the open to buy for select categories and is able to speak to both pre-season and in-season plans. To excel, this person must have excellent analytical skills, applicable retail or work experience, creative problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Core Responsibilities Support the financial success of all product categories and divisions for Tuckernuck. Oversee the planning and allocation process by creating and meeting or exceeding sales, gross margin, and inventory turn goals.
Pre-Season: Build financial plans to achieve sales, margin and receipt targets through collaboration with planning team.
Plan by door, division and category and brand/vendor to ensure robust assortments
Build open to buys to track any buys placed directly for the stores to ensure optimal stock to sales ratios
Build detailed monthly product category and product type assortment plans by month for Third Party brands in collaboration with Director to create clear targets for buys
Collaborate with buyers to build season strategy across all channels of business and ensure merchandise assortment needs are being built to achieve growth of this business
Develop and build standardized reports and templates to perform in-season selling analysis and post season hind-sighting for continuous improvement
Analyze the business on an ongoing/daily basis to understand core drivers; identify opportunities and risks and partner with Buyers to respond appropriately
In-Season: Build and maintain the Seasonal OTBs with Planning, VP, CFO, and Founders the seasonal Open to Buy, updating it weekly to ensure financial targets are met (revenue, margins, returns, cancellations and aged inventory)
Identify inventory levels needed to support replenishments and the markdown strategy for merchandise based on sell-through percent and planned product life span
Analyze, report, and revise projections based on current trends, performance, and opportunities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to maximize sales, profitability and sell through sharing out to relevant stakeholders
Become subject matter expert in all reporting and ERP / Planning and POS systems to help support cross functional teams and partners
Participate in the completion of departmental tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
Analyze and recap actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales and inventory on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis.
Stores:
Create pre-season store plans at the store, category, month, brand, style level and manage buy execution to plan
Partner with Store Merchandiser and Ecomm Buyers to manage and meet category assortment targets
Collaborate with store design and construction team on all new store openings to create optimal levels of inventory and styles by division / department
Map out planograms for category layouts to ensure full assortments are met to represent the brand and location
Analyze location selling for ecommerce and market research to determine optimal assortments and help support decision making for new doors/ store openings and trunk shows
Ensure Inventory Levels are maximized and for Sales by allocating on a weekly/bi-weekly basis
Monitor and allocate newness specifically for Private Label
Ensure all 3rd Party buys are arriving on time and either shipped to the store or part of the floorset at Ryder by partnering with the Operations team
Partner with store team to ensure inventory is always in the right location by transferring to other doors, sending back to warehouse, or replenishing
Partner with marketing team and operations teams to execute and oversee all inventory initiatives for trunk shows and inventory management of those
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Obsessed with details and constantly double checking
