As a Solutions Consultant for Insurance solutions, you will actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working with the sales team as the key technical adviser and product advocate. Using technical creativity and business acumen, you will illustrate the value that Appians Insurance solutions and platform can provide. You must be able to engage and articulate product positioning to both business and technical users in competitive scenarios. You will rapidly identify technical issues of Insurance solutions to ensure customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Responsibilities Drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process in collaboration with the sales team as a technical adviser and product advocate. Illustrate the value that Appians Insurance solutions and platform provide through technical creativity and business acumen. Engage and articulate product positioning to both business and technical users in competitive scenarios. Identify and address technical issues for Insurance solutions to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications
Technical depth to respond to all functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs Experience in an enterprise software sales role (Business Process Management Platforms, Low Code Platforms, or Application Development Platform experience preferred) Ability to strategically solve problems by thinking outside the box Proven success conveying customer requirements to Product Management teams Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with customer interaction, requirements analysis, and presentations In-depth understanding of Appian Insurance Solutions Ability to represent Appian's Insurance solutions and products at field events (conferences, summits, seminars, etc.) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 7+ years as a Pre-Sales Engineer OR 7+ years in a client-facing Professional Services/Consulting role involving sales scenarios Willingness to travel 10% to customer locations within the assigned region
