Senior Solutions Consultant - Insurance at Appian UK. Responsibilities
Actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working with the sales team as the key technical adviser and product advocate. Illustrate the value that Appian’s Insurance solutions and platform can provide to both business and technical users in competitive scenarios. Engage and articulate product positioning to customers in competitive situations. Rapidly identify technical issues of Insurance solutions to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Represent Appian's Insurance solutions and products to customers at field events such as conferences, summits, seminars, etc. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years as a successful Pre-Sales Engineer OR 7+ years in a Professional Services/Consulting role that is client facing and involves sales scenarios. Willingness to travel 10% to customer locations throughout the assigned region. Typical Skills and Experience
Technical depth to respond to all functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs. Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, XML, XSL, etc. Experience in enterprise software sales (Business Process Management Platforms, Low Code Platforms, or Application Development Platform experience preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with customer interaction, requirements analysis, and presentations. In-depth understanding of Appian Insurance Solutions.
