A globally recognised offshore firm is seeking a motivated Associate (3–5 PQE) to join its well-regarded funds practice in the Cayman Islands. This is a genuine 360 opportunity that will see you advising on both the formation and structuring of investment funds, as well as ongoing regulatory and compliance matters. The role will particularly appeal to those seeking to become a well-rounded funds lawyer, gaining exposure across the full life cycle of hedge, private equity and alternative fund vehicles. You will: Advise on the formation, structuring and operation of investment funds across asset classes. Draft and review offering memoranda, subscription agreements and service provider contracts. Provide regulatory and compliance advice on AML, FATCA/CRS, CIMA filings and related obligations. Liaise with clients, regulators and service providers to ensure smooth fund operations. Support senior lawyers in client relationship management and business development initiatives. Candidate Profile: 3–5 years’ PQE in a recognised Commonwealth jurisdiction. Strong background in funds law and regulatory frameworks, ideally with offshore exposure. Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills. Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative and proactive, with a client-focused mindset.
