Salary: $30.00 An Hour
Description: We are looking for a diligent and dependable individual to join our team as an Armed Security Officer. This role involves safeguarding our clients premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional observational skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and calm .
Responsibilities
Patrol assigned areas regularly to deter and detect unauthorized activity. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any suspicious behavior or security breaches. Conduct thorough inspections of the premises to ensure all doors, windows, and access points are secure. Respond promptly to requests for assistance or emergencies, such as medical incidents, disturbances, or accidents. Maintain accurate logs and reports detailing security incidents, disturbances, and any other noteworthy activities that occur during shifts. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries, directions, and other needs. Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders when necessary. Follow company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to uphold security standards and ensure compliance. Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and relevant laws. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management. Must be willing to work in an armed capacity.
Requirements
Military service in an occupational specialty related to law enforcement such as military police, combat arms, or special forces Minimum of two (2) years of experience carrying a firearm as a law enforcement officer, with zero disciplinary action for the misuse of firearms or use of force Proven experience as a security officer or guard 40 Hour state certification and PERC Card Firearms Owners Identification Card required (FOID) Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Valid Driver's License Reliable Transportation High School diploma is required; further education in security administration or a similar field is preferred
