Job Description
The Center for Student Formation is seeking an AssociateDirector for Collaborative Initiatives to lead in the planning, budgeting andexecution of University wide collaborative efforts sponsored by the Center forStudent Formation. The Center advances the mission of Boston College byengaging students, faculty, and staff in understanding and practicing the goalof student formation that is one of the central elements in Jesuit education. Alongwith the Executive Director, this position will support the new and ongoingprojects that the Center establishes with other units across Boston College.
In addition to collaboration across the University, the position will overseethe Freshman League male engagement program. In this role, the AssociateDirector will have direct supervision of 80 upperclassmen who support a largergroup of 320 first year male students. This role will require a keenunderstanding of Boston College male undergraduate culture, as well asexemplary formational and administrative skills in the areas of programplanning, supervision and retreat preparation. The position will also supervisethe Assistant Director and have indirect supervision of the other undergraduateprograms within the Center.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $79,900 to $99,900; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements
Requirements: * Master's degree in Higher Education or related field. * Must possess an understanding of the principles project design, management andimplementation. * Excellent attention to detail, advising, decision-making, budgeting,planning, organizing, and administrative abilities. * 5+ years experience with supervision of professional and graduate studentstaff. * Strong knowledge and understanding of the University environment. * Must possess ability to organize formational collaborations with a variety ofacademic and administrative units throughout the University. * Occasional week night and weekend responsibilities due to the nature ofstudent formation work.
Preferred: * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Filemaker Pro andAdobe Photoshop/editing software.
