What To Expect As an Electrical Engineer on the Abuse and Test Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and executing experiments to test the abuse tolerance of various electrical components and systems. Leveraging this knowledge, you will assess potential hazards and collaborate with our development teams to inform the design of hardware and firmware across a wide range of products. This critical role will play a key part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our products.
What You'll Do
Create experiments to push electrical systems to their limits
Study the properties of electrical failures
Root cause and recreate failure modes
Drive algorithm development and coordination of system components
Collaborate in the design and manufacturing of future products
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences, preferably Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
General electrical, thermal, and mechanical foundation
Mechatronics/embedded systems experience, a plus
Automotive/grid scale energy components or systems experience, a plus

Expected Compensation $108,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
