Chamberlain University is a regionally accredited university with a 130-year history. The Senior Financial Analyst will support Chamberlain’s growth and mission by providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support day-to-day operations. The role is based in Chicago and aligns with Adtalem’s hybrid work model (in-office Monday–Thursday; option to work remotely on Friday). Responsibilities
Play a critical role in preparing Chamberlain’s annual budget and monthly forecasts. Provide recommendations to Chamberlain leadership informed by financial analysis and ongoing monitoring of business performance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for key stakeholders (e.g., Adtalem and Chamberlain boards, C-Suite, etc.). Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects including new business case analysis, capital investments, and operational efficiency reviews. Collaborate closely with broader Chamberlain and Adtalem finance/accounting teams. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required; Master’s degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or corporate finance. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of pride in work product. Strong experience in financial modeling and analysis; well-versed in P&L. Excellent team player and collaborator. Solution-oriented mindset and proactive work approach. Advanced Excel skills; strong in PowerPoint. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet demanding deadlines. Sense of humor. Compensation & Benefits
In support of pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $111,584.97. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
