Oliver Wyman - Private Capital – Senior Consultant/Associate
role at Oliver Wyman. Oliver Wyman’s Private Equity team in North America is looking to hire consultants to support its rapid growth. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal transaction lifecycle: from opportunity identification through due diligence and post-transaction value realization. This is a multi-specialist, client-focused engagement environment with industry and functional expertise and a strong network.
Responsibilities
Provide industry- and discipline-specific knowledge to support private equity engagements and help clients achieve differentiated results across the deal lifecycle.
Collaborate with teams across relevant practice groups and contribute to opportunity identification, due diligence, and post-transaction value realization.
Apply analytical frameworks and customer research techniques to inform strategic recommendations and client deliverables.
Support business development and build expertise within Oliver Wyman's Private Equity practice.
Qualifications
Professional experience with exposure to commercial due diligence in a management consulting firm.
Experience across or within industries within Private Equity.
Knowledge and in-depth experience with customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.).
Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
Fluent in English.
Undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
Initiative to learn new skills and apply existing ones; creativity to develop novel ideas to solve clients’ biggest problems.
Aptitude for analytical work and the ability to handle large data sets and identify key issues.
Ability to work fluidly and respectfully with a high-performing team.
Location Locations: Boston, Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Dallas
Compensation The applicable base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $195,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. We offer a competitive total rewards package including health benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs.
