Established and expanding consulting Civil Engineering firm, based in Central Connecticut since 1962, seeks a highly motivated individual with 10-15 years minimum experience to be Design Manager, or General Manager of our Meriden Office. Potential ownership opportunity. Qualifications Strong Leadership Skills Significant Design and Project Management experience Broad Technical Background in Transportation: Highway & Bridge, Hydraulics/Water Resources, or Water and Wastewater Engineering Business development and client management experience Municipal and/or CONNDOT design and construction administration experience Excellent oral and written communications skills
Responsibilities
Management of Design teams Provide Technical Expertise Business Development Client Management
B.S. or M.S. Civil Engineering and 15+ years progressive experience in the design and management of civil engineering projects. Must have a P.E. license in CT or the ability to obtain license in Connecticut quickly. Technical expertise in either Bridge and Highway Design, Water and Wastewater, or Water Resources.
