Senior Structural Engineer

This is an experienced-based salaried role for a Senior Structural Engineer. The candidate will oversee the creation of 3D models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks, based on customer inputs and internal designs, adhering to company standards. Typical products include steel platforms, stairs, towers, foundations, skids, tanks, and drag chains for industries such as Telecommunications, Transportation, Wastewater, and Oil & Gas. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, preferably in structural steel design, and be fluent in SolidWorks. A Texas PE License is required. Familiarity with AISC, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and ASSHTO standards is preferred. Duties include: Knowledge of engineering technology, codes, and standards in the USA. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team. Coordination with clients, consultants, project teams, vendors, and subcontractors. Development and monitoring of project scope and schedule. Preparation of engineering requirements and design data. Review and interpretation of design requirements into detailed designs. Scheduling of engineering activities to meet project timelines. Coordination of structural engineering work with joint venture teams, vendors, and clients. Experience with the full project lifecycle. Management of a design team of four engineers. Software experience in RISA 3D, SolidWorks Simulation, tnxTwoer, Helicap, Lpile, and Mathcad. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Over 5 years of detailed structural design engineering experience. Proficiency in SolidWorks is a priority.
