We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 8 to 15 years of experience in the design and analysis of steel structures, preferably for industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in structural engineering principles and proficient in structural modeling and analysis using RISA-3D . This role involves designing and analysis of variety of steel structures, reviewing fabrication drawings, ensuring code compliance, and coordinating with internal teams to develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective structures and structural elements. Familiarity with AISC, ASCE, and IBC codes is essential.
nWhile candidates with ability to perform work on-site are , remote position is considered for highly qualified candidates.
nKey Responsibilities:
n- n
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures using RISA-3D. n
- Occasionally run hand calcs and ability to create excel tools for repetitive calculations. n
- Review fabrication drawings for structural adequacy, accuracy, and compliance with design intent. n
- Interpret design requirements and prepare structural calculations and documentation as needed. n
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, including AISC, ASCE 7, and IBC. n
- Review and interpret geotechnical reports for foundation analysis. n
- Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering input throughout the project lifecycle. n
- Perform redline reviews and coordinate changes based on internal and client feedback. n
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required). n
- Professional Engineer (P.E) license. n
- n
- 8 plus years of structural engineering experience, preferably with structural steel focus. n
- Proficiency in RISA-3D or other computer modeling software. n
- Experience reviewing and interpreting fabrication drawings and shop details. n
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. n
- Effective communication with other engineers and other discipline stakeholders. n
Qualifications:
n- n
- Multiple State licensure. n
- Experience in telecommunications or utility structures. n
- Familiarity with tnxTower, Mathcad, L-pile, and AutoCad. n
- Experience with SolidWorks. n
- Experience in wind load calculations on structures and appurtenances. n
- Familiarity with sheet metal or custom fabrication. n
- Strong understanding of structural detailing and fabrication practices. n
