The City of Kingman is located in Mohave County approximately 100 miles southeast of Las Vegas and 195 miles northwest of Phoenix nestled between the beautiful Cerbat and Hualapai Mountain Ranges along historic Route 66. Drives a beverage cart in a safe and cautious manner on the golf course to serve food and beverages to guests. Works under the supervision of the Food & Beverage Coordinator and the indirect supervision of the Assistant Golf Professional. None Minimum Qualifications/Special Requirements

Education and Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and minimum of 19 years of age or older. Some experience working on a golf course preferred. Special Requirements: Possess a valid Arizona state driver's license or ability to obtain one upon hire. Required to possess and maintain current bartender license or alcohol sell/server permit as provided through the Basic: Title 4 Alcohol Certification for Individuals certification as approved by the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control. Must receive certification within 30 days of hire to the position. Required to possess and maintain current food handler's care as provided through Mohave County Public Health, Environment Health Division, ANSI-accredited food handler certificate/card or a current food handler card issued by a County within Arizona. Must receive certification within 30 days of hire to the position. Essential Functions

Assists guests with questions. Drives beverage cart in a safe and cautious manner on the golf course. Observing and respecting the flow of the game. Sells food and beverage; delivers orders to guests on course. Complies with all food and beverage regulations set by Mohave County Health Department and Arizona Department of Liquor and License Control, for proper food and beverage temperature, storage, handling and serving alcoholic beverages. Utilizes proper procedures in serving alcoholic beverages (verify legal drinking age and/or discontinuing service to intoxicated customers). Responsible for accurate collection of payment of sales and reporting sales and collections through bar/restaurant point of sale system. Ensures established cash handling procedures are followed. Maintains knowledge of menu, makes recommendations to guests. Responsible for inventory of all items sold on beverage cart, cleaning and maintaining cart and storage areas. Restocking and replenishment of supplies and following established opening and closing procedures. Maintains positive professional and effective working relationships by providing exceptional customer service. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job to ensure continuity. Must be able to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. May be required to assist with tournaments, special events and other department programs and activities where needed. Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies and procedures; follows safety policies and practices, works in a safe manner, and reports unsafe activity and conditions. Knowledge

Basic knowledge the fundamentals of the game of golf to assist with customer inquiries and golf events and activities; customer service principles and practices; recordkeeping practices; Cash handling procedures; Basic knowledge of mathematics; Basic principles and practices in assigned area of responsibility; Federal OSHA and State and County regulations and City policies regarding safe work practices; Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding liquor service, food preparation health and safety regulations. Skills

Demonstrated skill in dealing tactfully and courteously with guests, and providing positive and friendly customer service; Operation of golf carts and related equipment; Quick and accurate math calculations. Abilities

Understand and follow directions given by supervisor; Communicate clearly; Use equipment and tools properly and safely; Maintain clean and orderly work area; Adapt to changing work priorities; Interpret rules, regulations, and policies and apply knowledge.
