Job Purpose
To learn and understand the goals and objectives of the company/department. Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for quality to exceed client expectations and ensure service levels are clearly understood. Establish a pleasant working relationship both internally and externally. Provide the "end to end customer experience". Essential Duties and Responsibilities Answer general customer questions via email and phone. Demonstrate the skills and product knowledge required to perform job functions. Use electronic catalog and global website effectively. Learn to navigate the AS400 system. Support customer care operations for dealers and territory managers. Process demo requests, check order status, and manage electronic orders. Check inventory and provide product information and pricing. Process credits, return authorizations, factory chargebacks, parts express, warranty, and replacement orders. Submit changes or cancellations on orders with assistance from supervisors. Track shipments and research customer inquiries. Review daily reports and adhere to department and company guidelines. Participate in daily check-ins and weekly meetings with supervisors. Work towards meeting response time targets and escalate unresolved issues. Maintain an open issue log and participate in all global training meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent. Effective communication skills via email, fax, and verbally. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents. Strong report writing and presentation skills. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical instructions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
