About the Role
The Company is seeking a hands-on Test Automation Lead with a proven track record in delivering scalable test automation for large, client-facing transformation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a modular, reusable test automation framework, integrating various automation types to validate complex processes, and leading the planning and execution of automated test activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust, automated end-to-end testing to accelerate implementation timelines, increase reliability, and provide a consistent, repeatable client experience. The Test Automation Lead will also be expected to define and promote standards, tools, and best practices for test automation, as well as mentor automation engineers and functional testers.
Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA preferred, and 5-10 years' experience leading test automation or project teams. A strong background in automation strategy, modern test tooling and frameworks, and experience with RPA and GenAI use cases in testing is essential. The role requires a deep understanding of software engineering for tests, experience in automating API, UI, data, and workflow tests across cloud-native and on-prem systems, and a solid grounding in Agile delivery and tooling. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced, distributed delivery contexts are also key. While not essential, an understanding of portfolio management/trading workflows and risk/control frameworks is considered a plus.
