About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to oversee the hands-on operations of its assisted living community. The successful candidate will be responsible for the community's profit and loss, financial performance, and the leadership of employees to ensure resident and family satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of and adherence to all state and federal regulations, as well as the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and maintain a strong market position. The Executive Director will also be tasked with financial management, including budget preparation, and will be expected to be a proactive and effective leader in all aspects of the community's operations.
Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company's assisted living community should ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a background in business administration, human resources, gerontology, or a related area. A minimum of 2-5 years' of prior General Manager or Administrator experience is preferred, or 5-10 years in senior living, hospitality, or skilled nursing, with at least 5 years at the management level. The role demands a professional with a valid driver's license and, if required by the state, a valid license to operate an assisted living facility. The Executive Director must be adept at financial management, possess strong organizational and prioritization skills, and demonstrate proficiency in sales and marketing. The position also requires the ability to multitask, effective communication, and a commitment to the highest standards of care and service for the elderly.
