In this hands-on position, you'll measure and blend chemicals and solvents with precision, following detailed formulas and processes. Your work will directly impact product quality and efficiency as you prioritize safety, minimize defects, and optimize production output. Location: Onsite Kalamazoo, MI What you will be doing: Produce bulk solutions on schedule to meet daily manufacturing needs. Read, interpret and execute specifications from the work order. Pull/verify proper staging and availability of raw materials. Comply with safety and regulatory regulations, policies, and procedures. Good Documentation Practices are required. Complete production records and data entry as required (DHR, process monitor, production summaries, double check sheets, work orders, etc.) Strictly follow standard operating procedures on check sheet to make required batch mixes. Dispose of waste materials, empty containers and piece drums accordingly May transfer products from one container to another as needed. Do all mathematical conversions necessary to properly record tare and material weights on various types of scales. Perform assigned tasks to support objectives of team, department, and company. Comply with all company production procedures and instructions to ensure task completion Perform equipment and process setups, basic maintenance, cleaning of equipment, work area, and facility Skills you will need: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift, push and/or pull, up to 50 lbs. Experience with working in chemical manufacturing, preferred Must be able to speak, read, and legibly write in the English language, without assistance Must have basic computer skills, to include but not be limited to: data entry, log in/out, screen and program navigation Must have working mathematical skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to wear respiratory protection, as needed Building an Inclusive Culture: We are a company that brings the best people together and leverages their varying backgrounds, ideas, and points of view to invent on behalf of all customers.
