A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in Albany, NY, to manage civil litigation matters across diverse practice areas and appear regularly in state and federal courts. Duties Manage civil litigation files, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing discovery. Take and defend depositions, draft and argue motions, and prepare for hearings and trials. Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to develop case strategies and client solutions. Requirements 2–6 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts. Active admission to practice in New York. Strong academic credentials with excellent research and writing abilities. Proven oral advocacy and communication skills. Education Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in New York. Skills Skilled in deposition examination and motion practice.
