Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in San Mateo, CA to discover and derive actionable insights from large-scale streaming telemetry and gaming platform data to enhance user experiences. Requires a Masters degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent, and four (4) years of experience serving as an analytics/business intelligence engineer; performing comprehensive data analysis of functional and business requisites utilizing Python, SQL, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Databricks; collaborating with data scientists and engineering groups to ensure seamless and accurate data processing; pioneering and enacting data modeling strategies and operationalizing novel experiment designs and key performance indicators (KPIs) to refine data models; conducting statistical analyses to evaluate and quantify operational and technical challenges, drawing input from both end-users and partner teams; harnessing advanced Data Science approaches to devise and oversee experiments to enhance model performance and generate insightful recommendations; and leading the development of scalable BI solutions using platforms including MicroStrategy and Tableau, from building the semantic layer or data modeling to reporting.
