Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, the Branch Supervisor performs supervisory and administrative functions, assists the teller and MSR area, and provides quality customer service in accordance with CBCU policies, strategies, and procedures. The essential functions include: Providing high-level customer service and responsiveness as directed by the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager. Supervising and assisting staff, including training, planning, assigning, and resolving problems. Understanding, explaining, and cross-selling CBCU products and services. Maintaining knowledge of all CBCU products and services. Mentoring, coaching, and training staff. Delivering courteous customer service in person and via phone. Opening and closing accounts, processing transactions, and responding to inquiries. Taking responsibility for department functions in staff absence or overload situations. Maintaining audit standards and preparing reports. Managing branch inventory and supplies. Ensuring proper upkeep of equipment and branch facility. Performing related duties to ensure branch effectiveness. Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Writing professional correspondence. Overseeing daily branch activities, including opening and closing. Controlling vault activity, maintaining cash and coin supplies, and ordering cash. Balancing ATM, troubleshooting issues, and placing service requests. Performing branch consolidation/settlement duties. Generating referrals to other banking areas. Adhering to dress code, security, cash handling, and regulatory policies. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2-3 years of customer service experience in a teller role, supervisory ability, knowledge of banking products, proficiency with office equipment, and the ability to work a rotating schedule from Monday through Saturday. This is a full-time, mid-senior level position in the finance and sales function.
