Bond Project Manager
The Lompoc Unified School District has an immediate need to fill the position of Bond Project Manager. The Lompoc Unified School District is seeking an experienced and motivated Bond Project Manager to lead, manage, and oversee all activities related to bond related new and existing facility construction and modernization projects. The ideal candidate for the Bond Project Manager position is a dynamic and experienced professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale construction and capital improvement projects within the public sector. They bring extensive knowledge of project management principles, building codes, and regulatory compliance, coupled with expertise in budget oversight, contractor coordination, and schedule management. This individual possesses exceptional leadership and communication skills, enabling them to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, district administrators, site administrators and community members. They are highly skilled in interpreting and applying construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with educational goals and district standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in project delivery. They are adept at navigating complex funding structures, such as bond-funded initiatives, and excel in providing strategic recommendations and detailed reporting to district leadership and governing boards. With a forward-thinking mindset and unwavering dedication to public service, public education, and students, this candidate ensures that facilities projects enhance learning environments and support long-term district success. The established Eligibility List will remain in effect for one year. The District has the right to limit the number of eligible which can be reasonably used during the existence of the eligibility list.
