The position is located on the Island of Hawaii, with potential placements in Kona, Keahole, Holualoa, Keauhou, Kealakekua, Captain Cook, and Honaunau. The job duties involve performing journey level clerical work, including complex assignments, prioritizing work, and supervising or participating in clerical tasks. To qualify, applicants must have six months of experience demonstrating knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and arithmetic, as well as one year of clerical experience. Supervisory aptitude, keyboarding proficiency, and a valid driver's license may also be required for some positions. Additional requirements include the ability to lift items, handle firearms, and possess language proficiency in Hawaiian, Japanese, Tagalog, Ilocano, Mandarin, Cantonese, or American Sign Language (ASL).
