With a focus on water and wastewater treatment plant construction and retrofit work, you’ll manage high-profile municipal projects, balancing scope, schedule, cost, and client expectations. You’ll collaborate with experienced superintendents and trade partners while shaping real-world results. Do You Have What It Takes? Lead Project Management experience managing large-scale water or wastewater treatment projects, ideally with retrofit or upgrade scopes Deep understanding of construction sequencing, plant operations, and MEP coordination within a treatment plant environment Skilled in procurement, buy-out, subcontracts, and scope negotiation Comfortable managing cost reports, pay applications, change orders, and forecasting Effective communicator with a talent for resolving conflicts and building strong relationships with owners, engineers, and internal teams Able to lead internal and external project meetings and produce timely documentation Familiarity with Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Office Suite, and project accounting tools OSHA 30 certified (required); LEED, Lean, or CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus You Would Be Responsible For Overseeing day-to-day execution, budgeting, and progress tracking on wastewater treatment plant projects Leading internal teams and coordinating with field staff to ensure alignment with schedule and safety protocols Managing subcontractor buyout, contract negotiation, submittals, and procurement processes Coordinating with BIM, Scheduling, Estimating, and MEP support teams throughout the project lifecycle Conducting owner meetings, internal team updates, and weekly progress reviews Ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project milestones, risks, and adjustments Tracking and reporting job cost performance, forecasting revenue, and managing pay apps Leading the implementation of site-specific safety plans and compliance with regulatory standards Participating in the company’s continuous improvement and process enhancement efforts About the Company This firm has a long-standing track record of delivering technically demanding water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the region.
