Founding Hardware Engineer , where you’ll be at the ground level of a team shaping the future of AI-driven hardware innovation. What You Will Do
Lead RTL design and verification for high-performance chip architectures.
Own the development of hardware evaluation frameworks and benchmarking pipelines.
Collaborate with ML engineers to align AI-generated designs with real-world hardware constraints.
Build and maintain testing infrastructure that ensures functional and performance correctness.
Translate customer and partner hardware requirements into technical specifications.
Contribute directly to the roadmap of an AI-driven chip design platform.
Ideal Candidate Background
2+ years of experience
in hardware design, RTL, or verification at leading semiconductor or chip companies.
Proven track record of contributing to complex hardware systems or real-world tapeouts.
Strong knowledge of
SystemVerilog/Verilog
and SoC design methodologies.
Experience leading or owning hardware development initiatives in high-performance environments.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (B.S., M.S., or PhD).
Preferred
Proficiency in
Python
for software development and hardware/software integration.
Experience with
UVM
or other verification frameworks.
Exposure to AI-for-chip-design workflows or interest in applying ML techniques to hardware.
Background in IP development (e.g., PCIe, PHY, LPDDR, NoC, CPU subsystems).
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive base salary of
$180,000 – $300,000 , plus meaningful equity.

Full-time, onsite position in Palo Alto, CA.
