Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer
to lead supplier quality initiatives across sourcing, validation, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure that quality is built into parts, processes, and new product development. The position requires strong technical expertise, supplier auditing experience, and the ability to champion a proactive quality culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Supply Chain to source, qualify, and develop suppliers. Lead supplier quality meetings, audits, and performance improvement initiatives. Manage new part validation including FAI, inspection setup, and Cpk verification. Develop and track supplier KPIs, scorecards, and corrective action plans. Support new product development with quality input during all design stages. Participate on the Material Review Board (MRB) for non-conforming materials. Lead supplier corrective action (SCAR) and CAPA processes. Support ISO 9001:2015 certification and external audits. Drive reduction in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). Travel 10–15% for supplier audits and assessments. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in manufacturing industries. Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of GD&T, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and MSA. Experience with SCAR, CAPA, and DFM reviews. Familiarity with AIAG standards and supplier process audits. Proficiency with Minitab, MS Excel, and Power BI for statistical analysis. Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. Project management skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or JDE). Location & Employment Type On-site in Minneapolis, MN (0% remote). Full-time, permanent role.
