Job Details
Design, program, and sustain PLC-based systems and migrate them to embedded controls. Develop and interpret schematics, BOMs, wiring, PCB designs, and assembly drawings. Specify and validate motors, sensors, VFDs, and other control components. Support production testing, compliance reports (e.g., ETL, CE), installation guides, and field service. Troubleshoot electrical/control issues and deliver training for internal teams and customers.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent discipline. 5+ years in electrical design, industrial controls, or automation. Hands-on experience programming PLCs using ladder logic. Proven ability in electrical systems design and development. Experience with VFDs, motor control, power distribution, and exposure to embedded systems design or troubleshooting. Proficiency with MS Office and strong project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel occasionally.
Desired Experience
Troubleshooting control systems. Working in distribution centers or industrial environments. Experience with ECM motors and VFDs. Familiarity with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD tools. Exposure to Altium Designer and C programming. Experience with testing documents and reviewing industry standards.
