Director of Marketing Technology Hybrid | Bellevue, Washington Salary: $135,000–$160,000 Our client is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Director of Marketing Technology to architect and lead a modern, scalable martech ecosystem. This hybrid role will own the strategic roadmap, integrations, and implementation of platforms that power data-driven, connected digital experiences across the enterprise. Primary Function Lead the vision, strategy, and architecture of the marketing technology stack, enabling seamless data flow, platform interoperability, and high-impact digital marketing capabilities. Drive an integrated, member-centric ecosystem that fuels acquisition, engagement, and lifetime value. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the martech vision and multi-year roadmap, ensuring a scalable architecture and seamless customer data connectivity across platforms. Serve as the marketing technology voice in data governance, championing a member-centric approach. Translate business needs into user stories and epics for IT product delivery teams; guide integration and optimization of martech platforms across all digital touchpoints. Align stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Analytics to accelerate digital marketing transformation. Partner with marketing, membership, and digital experience leaders to connect eCommerce, digital experience, and acquisition strategies. Use data and insights to inform business strategy, improve marketing efficiency, reduce acquisition costs, and drive customer lifetime value. Own product and platform strategy for martech and adtech, ensuring alignment with enterprise digital transformation and technical architecture. Build and manage a prioritized platform roadmap focused on scalable innovation, real-time marketing capabilities, and superior member experiences. Scale and optimize campaigns through best-in-class tools for campaign management, personalization, CDP, DAM, and performance measurement. Establish KPIs, track platform and marketing performance, and continuously refine strategy based on data-driven insights. Identify and evaluate emerging Martech/AdTech technologies; advise on architectural evolution to keep the ecosystem modern, scalable, and competitive. Lead cross-functional partnerships with IT, Marketing, Product, Operations, and external vendors to ensure cohesive implementation, data flow, and platform integration. Cultivate strong relationships with technology providers to expand capabilities and maximize ROI. Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture aligned to the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Supervisory Responsibilities This role does not have direct reports. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years in technology within Adobe or Salesforce ecosystems with customer-facing responsibilities. 6+ years in management, including 3+ years at a senior leadership level. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Certificates/Licenses None required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Deep expertise with Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce CRM, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a focus on integrations that create unified profiles and personalized experiences. Strong understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and journey orchestration best practices. Proven ability to leverage martech features for lead nurturing, qualification, and optimization. Experience building and optimizing first-party data–driven lead lifecycles from engagement through acquisition. Demonstrated success driving change and solving complex, cross-functional problems. Broad knowledge of leading-edge product, technology, and marketing practices. Experience designing and deploying martech solutions across multiple business units or teams. Strong grasp of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and collaboration with product teams to deliver measurable outcomes. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including executive engagement. Track record of continuously delivering features and capabilities aligned to strategic business goals. Bias for innovation and continuous improvement.
