About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Business Development to spearhead the sourcing, closing, and launching of high-impact strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will be a creative leader with a proven track record in closing significant deals and driving substantial P&L results. This role is pivotal in owning the full deal cycle, from strategy and sourcing to negotiation and close, with a focus on unlocking new capabilities through the partner ecosystem and developing new commercial distribution models. The VP will be responsible for shaping and delivering on the company's most important commercial growth initiatives, working closely with executive stakeholders, and leading a team to ensure the success of the partnership strategy.
Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in strategic partnerships, business development, ISV partnerships, or corporate development within a top technology, SaaS, or other market-leading company. The role requires excellence in building relationships with executive stakeholders, the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, and a talent for moving deals from conception to execution. The ideal candidate will be adept at combining commercial creativity with financial rigor, capable of structuring complex, high-impact partnership agreements, and experienced in driving significant monetization from marketplace strategies. Leadership skills are essential for this position, as the VP will be expected to coach and mentor teams, manage partnership operations, and ensure the seamless onboarding and optimization of partner relationships.
