About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Engineering to take on a pivotal role in leading and expanding the engineering organization. The successful candidate will have direct oversight of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, working in close collaboration with R&D, and will be responsible for driving product development and process excellence across various engineering domains. This includes hardware, firmware, manufacturing support, and sustaining engineering. The role demands a strategic leader who can partner with the CTO to define and execute an engineering roadmap that fosters innovation, quality, and scalability. The VP of Engineering will also be tasked with building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team, ensuring seamless product transitions from R&D to production, and maintaining technical and compliance standards.
Applicants for the VP of Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. The ideal candidate will have a background in power supply, aerospace, or similar hardware-intensive industries, and a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams.
