Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to provide recommendations on performance management processes to include, policy violation warnings, performance improvement plans, staffing reviews, and succession planning Establish accountable leadership through strong influencing skills, interpersonal savvy, and understanding of organizational dynamics and being results-driven Act as a trusted advisor to Leaders when conducting performance reviews, offer guidance on creating and delivering feedback, goal setting for their team, creating a high performance and development-oriented culture Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures Organize and conduct an engaging onboarding orientation for new hires as an introduction to key systems, Company culture and benefits, and other important new-to-role information Collaborate with hiring leaders and Talent Acquisition Specialists on interviewing candidates, managing job postings, and refining position descriptions for new and existing roles Gather feedback from team members on their experience with the company. Analyze feedback with leadership to implement positive change and drive employee retention and engagement Administer and support team members through the FMLA and ADA process. Monitor and track absence status, medical documentation to include accommodation requests, return to work date, and leave-related payroll processing Partner with HR Specialist and/or HR & Recruiting Coordinator on offer letter generation and communication sheets for any position or compensation changes within the company Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations relative to compensation, benefits, employment, payroll and workers compensation. Support the development and communication of HR policies and procedures Complete miscellaneous HR projects and other related administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years of current experience as a full-cycle HR Generalist Proven track record of driving HR excellence with a strong understanding of HR practices and passion for fostering a positive workplace culture Ability to influence in both formal and informal settings Excellent Customer Service and multi-tasking skills Outstanding communication skills Ability to work through projects and drive out efficiencies Working knowledge of HR Generalist Functions Ability to work with multiple users at all levels of the organization Strong attention to details and high level of accuracy while maintaining short deadlines Experience with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio
Education
Required Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required
Preferred
PHR or SPHR certified
