The Enterprise Architect Corporate Functions plays a strategic role in defining and aligning enterprise architecture with the evolving needs of corporate functions such as Finance, Risk, HR, and Procurementwithin the highly regulated and fast-evolving banking sector. This role requires deep expertise in financial services and banking environments, acting as a bridge between business priorities and technology capabilities. The successful candidate will drive architecture for complex, high-impact initiatives and ensure secure, scalable, and forward-looking solutions aligned to institutional banking operations. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

Define and evolve architecture strategies and roadmaps aligned to the needs of finance, risk, HR, procurement, and related functions. Architectural Design:

Develop high-level models and detailed architectures that support secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise systems. Solution Architecture:

Translate business strategies and CFO priorities into actionable technical roadmaps, guiding the development of systems such as ERP, EPM, Treasury, and Tax platforms. Technology Modernization:

Lead modernization initiatives for core financial systems and support FinOps practices to align cloud and IT spend with financial goals. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure architectural solutions meet banking regulations, internal controls, and data governance standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with product owners, business leaders, and technology teams to ensure alignment across functions and platforms. Governance and Execution:

Provide architectural oversight during project delivery to ensure adherence to standards and timely execution. Advisory Support:

Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, offering technical insights that inform business decisions. Communication:

Clearly communicate complex architectural concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Vendor Engagement:

Collaborate with external technology providers to ensure effective and compliant integration of solutions. Expected Skills

Strategic thinking with the ability to align architecture with business goals. Deep business acumen in corporate functions such as Finance, HR, and Risk. Proficiency with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Strong solution design skills for secure, scalable, and future-ready systems. Experience integrating diverse technologies, platforms, and data sources. Solid understanding of regulatory and risk considerations in banking. Ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders. Strong communication, documentation, and visualization capabilities. Change leadership experience in transformation environments. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging trends. Expected Knowledge

In-depth domain knowledge in

institutional and commercial banking

is

required . Expertise in financial systems (GL, AP/AR, Consolidation, Treasury, Tax, FP&A), HR systems (e.g., Workday), and Procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, Concur). Familiarity with banking-specific risk management systems and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, SOX, GDPR). Understanding of modern architectures including cloud, microservices, APIs, and data platforms. Awareness of cybersecurity, data privacy, and secure architecture best practices. Experience with business capability modeling and value stream analysis. Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and documentation standards. Knowledge of IT governance, portfolio management, and enterprise change management. Experience with vendor and third-party solution integration in banking environments. Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and product-centric delivery models. Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of enterprise architecture experience, including at least 5 years in finance and risk domains. Banking experience is required.

Proven experience within financial institutions, particularly in corporate functions, is essential. Knowledge of institutional banking products and services including capital markets, investment management, structured finance, and M&A. Experience in delivering innovation within banking and financial services. Proficiency in architecture diagramming practices and enterprise architecture tools. Background in software engineering, delivery, or solution architecture. Architecture Roadmaps:

Current and future state models aligning technology with business strategy. Design Documents:

High-level documentation for initiatives and enterprise programs. Architecture Principles and Standards:

Frameworks ensuring scalable, consistent, and compliant architecture. Technology Assessments:

Evaluations and recommendations for new or emerging tools and platforms. Gap Analyses:

Reports identifying technical and business gaps, with impact assessments. Stakeholder Presentations:

Clear, executive-level communication of architecture strategies and results. Reference Architectures:
