DIGITAL STRATEGY /

Responsible for developing and executing digital & social media recommendations for our clients. Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible. Priority will be given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in the office) in one of our office locations—Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA. We will also consider a remote-based working arrangement for qualified candidates. The Work You’ll Do

Craft savvy recommendations and implement digital campaigns – including (but not limited to) social media, media partnerships, paid media, and digital measurement strategies Collaborate with internal Octagon departments and/or with client agency partners to deliver asset recommendations, digital valuations, content strategy, and IP integration opportunities that enhance client investments Confidently pitch concepts to clients & partners and develop creative content ideas that ladder up to client objectives Measure campaigns and deliver inventive insights to clients on what is working and what can be optimized Simultaneously lead multiple projects relying on strong project management and organizational skills Assist with digital RFPs and growth opportunities as needed The Bigger Team You’ll Join

Are you a Playmaker? Who We’re Looking For

Minimum of 6+ years experience in digital/social media strategy; agency experience in digital, media or sports is a plus Expertise in developing & executing digital campaigns that span social media (paid & organic) and media partnerships Strong experience in measuring & showcasing the impact of digital & social programs – through social measurement tools (e.g., Infegy, Hookit, CreatorIQ) and the ability to synthesize Excel data into actionable recommendations You’re not only the architect for digital campaigns, but you’re the builder – you have led & seen programs through in a hands-on capacity You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail; much of the work is consumer and client facing You possess the leadership skills to coach junior team members on social and digital outputs You’re ahead of what’s trending in social & digital content – what’s resonating with fans, which platforms are growing, and what content matters to fans – with a passion for/expertise in sports, entertainment, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and switch between projects while staying organized and on track The base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $95,000. Where a candidate is paid within this range will depend on factors including market conditions, tenure and qualifications. Unlimited PTO policy – we understand you need time for play!
