Director of Operations Location: Baltimore metropolitan area, MD Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with executive leadership to develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies Drive revenue optimization through innovative merchandising approaches and market expansion initiatives Lead annual planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation Champion continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction Direct and mentor location managers while overseeing performance across all departmental leadership roles Build high-performing teams through strategic recruitment, professional development, and succession planning Create an inclusive workplace culture that promotes growth, accountability, and exceptional service standards Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational objectives Establish and monitor key performance indicators across quality, cost management, inventory control, and safety protocols Implement scalable systems and processes that support current operations and future expansion Lead initiatives to minimize waste, optimize inventory turnover, and maximize profitability Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies Develop and execute strategies to consistently exceed customer expectations Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation Oversee product selection, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns Champion brand standards and ensure consistent execution across all touchpoints Qualifications
10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-location retail operations, preferably within premium or specialty markets Demonstrated success in financial management, including P&L responsibility and budget oversight Proven track record of driving sales growth and operational improvements in customer-focused environments Advanced financial acumen with expertise in business analysis, forecasting, and performance metrics Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience in process optimization Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and manage complex projects Proven success in developing talent and building engaged, high-performing teams Results-driven leader with unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction Adaptable professional who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams Strong business judgment with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure Technology proficient, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Occasional weekend availability required Benefits
