As a Family Support Partner in the Wrap Around - Charlotte department, you will provide education and assistance navigating the child-serving systems (child welfare, education, behavioral/mental health, juvenile justice, school, primary care, etc.), and support the legal guardian in gaining skills to complete and locate referrals. A typical day will include providing 9-12 support mentorship to legal guardians in the school, home, and community setting for up to 90 minutes weekly, in person or virtual, building relationships with guardians in the community. Your schedule is non-traditional, but typically around 9 am–5 pm, excluding weekends and on-call. Mentors serve their youth in person or virtually in the Charlotte area. Bachelor's degree in a human services field and 1 year of experience with the target population, or Associate degree in a human services field and 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth High school diploma or GED with a minimum of five years experience as a primary caregiver of children/adolescents/transition-age youth National certification or in the process of obtaining national certification as a Parent Support Provider Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as required by the department Must pass a drug screening and a comprehensive background check You’re the right fit for the Family Support Partner position if…
