The Talent Acquisition Strategy & Operations (S&O) team is evolving into a critical strategic partner, driving global recruiting efficiency and scalability with a focus on technical talent acquisition. We optimize processes, leverage data analytics, and implement technology solutions to align technical hiring with DoorDash's engineering and product needs. Our mission is to empower technical recruiters with streamlined operations and data-driven insights to attract, engage, and retain top engineering talent globally. About The Role
As a Global TA Tech Strategy & Operations Program Lead, you will lead strategic initiatives that standardize and optimize global recruiting practices specifically for Engineering and Product profiles. In your first 90 days, you will immerse in current technical hiring processes, build relationships with engineering leadership and technical recruiting teams, and contribute to ongoing RPO implementation focused on technical talent delivery. Success will be measured by time-to-hire improvements for engineering roles, quality of technical hires, recruiter productivity, and successful delivery of TA tech projects. You will report to the Senior Manager of Recruitment Strategy and Operations on the RecOps team within People and Culture. You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will… These responsibilities include leading strategic projects to optimize the technical talent acquisition lifecycle, planning cycles for each Engineering and Product vertical, analyzing technical recruiting data to inform decisions, collaborating with Engineering leadership, People Analytics, and IT/HRIS to optimize recruiting technologies, establishing robust reporting (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs) focused on KPIs, providing weekly weather reports to senior leadership on hiring trends, contributing to global RPO strategy and vendor integration, and facilitating working sessions to identify process improvements in engineering hiring. Responsibilities
Lead and manage strategic projects to optimize the technical TA lifecycle, implementing global best practices across engineering and product development. Lead planning cycles for Engineering and Product verticals, aligning TA tech strategies with hiring roadmaps and growth. Analyze technical recruiting data (source effectiveness, offer acceptance by level/specialty, pipeline velocity, diversity) to inform decisions. Collaborate with Engineering leadership, People Analytics, and IT/HRIS teams to optimize recruiting technologies (ATS, CRM, assessment platforms) and streamline global processes for technical hiring. Establish a rhythm of business with regular reporting (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs) focused on KPIs for technical TA. Provide weekly updates to senior leadership on the technical hiring verticals’ performance and market trends. Contribute to the implementation of global RPO strategy, including vendor selection and integration into technical hiring workflows. Facilitate working sessions with technical recruiting teams and engineering hiring managers to identify and implement process improvements for engineering hiring. Qualifications
7–10 years of experience in program management or strategy & operations, with substantial focus on technical talent acquisition or recruitment operations for large-scale engineering organizations. Proven track record of driving process improvement and implementing strategic initiatives in a high-growth tech environment, impacting engineering hiring outcomes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data modeling, statistical analysis, and reporting tools (eg, Tableau, Looker, SQL) for technical recruiting metrics. Deep expertise with ATS (eg, Greenhouse, Workday), CRM (eg, Beamery, Gem), and other recruiting technologies, including tools for technical assessments and candidate relationship management; foundational Lean Six Sigma understanding applied to TA processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build stakeholder relationships across engineering, product, and technical recruiting teams. Base salary range: $136,000–$200,000 USD, localized by work location; ranges may change with market conditions. Opportunities for equity grants. Details provided by recruiter.
