Overview
The Director of Business Development will lead sales efforts to promote and sell advanced data center infrastructure solutions within the Dallas region. This role emphasizes driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver customized solutions. Base pay range
$180,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Identify and engage new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients. Present tailored thermal management or power system solutions to meet client needs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutual satisfaction. Work with technical sales teams to create proposals and ensure smooth project execution. Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to senior management. Conduct technical presentations (lunch and learns) for prospective clients, consulting engineers, GCs, and mechanical contractors. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as required. Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance. Collaborate internally with finance, operations, engineering, and service departments to build cohesive relationships. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering sales. 3+ years of data center infrastructure sales. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel as required. Seniority level
