Responsibilities The Children’s Center Supervisor leads front-of-house operations surrounding enrollment and sales functions, and back of house operations related to the Cubs room to support the daily success of the Children’s Center. This position collaborates closely with the Hideout Manager and peer Supervisors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, focusing on guest service, team leadership, and operational excellence. The Supervisor plays a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment for families and staff. This position reports to the Hideout Manager.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $60,656 - $69,754. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Qualifications Education & Experience

Must be 21 years old or older

Bachelor’s degree in education, recreation, hospitality, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience

Minimum of 3 full seasons of experience in the winter sports industry preferred, with an understanding of ski school or resort operations and guest service standards

Minimum of 2 years of documented experience working with children in an educational, recreational, or care-focused setting preferred

Current Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) / American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) certification at level 1 or higher preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong knowledge of Point of Sale software, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office products to support seamless operations and effective organizational management

Deep understanding of front-of-house operations, guest service best practices, and children’s programming safety standards to ensure exceptional and safe guest experiences

Ability to maintain composure and a level demeanor in a fast-paced, high-stress, guest-focused environment to consistently deliver quality service

Effective verbal and written communication skills, including helpful ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese, to foster clear and positive interactions with guests and staff

Skilled in supervising, coaching, and developing team members to build a culture of professionalism and guest-centered service

Proficient at problem solving and conflict resolution to quickly and effectively address guest concerns and operational challenges

Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and manage scheduling and staffing to maintain smooth daily operations

Strong organizational skills and collaborative mindset to align with other departments and deliver cohesive guest experiences

Capable of adapting quickly to changing circumstances, taking initiative, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence

Additional Information Work Environment & Physical Demands

Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time

Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces

Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
