Overview

Reporting to the SVP of Global Strategic Growth & Development, the Senior Business Development Professional will be a key driver of revenue growth for one of the fastest growing business units within InnovateMR + Ivy Exec. Depending upon your prior experience, you will be focused on generating new buyers of expert network services from management consulting/professional advisory firms or financial institutions (private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, investment banking). The ideal candidate will have an intense hunger to win, innate curiosity, crisp communication, and proven experience selling expert network services. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and close new business opportunities by leveraging your industry knowledge & relationships from consulting and/or investment institutions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams across business development, client development, and client delivery to deliver tailored market insight solutions to such clients. You will focus your efforts on going after new logos and new users for expert network services. Responsibilities

LAND: Generate new clients by directly engaging with and building relationships with key prospects at consulting firms and/or financial institutions, those who are serviced by the traditional expert networks. Your day to day will consist of revenue generating activities via phone, in-person meetings, linkedin and email. EXPAND: Expand the business relationship within the new client base by generating new users and new offices. Support / Partner with Client Development colleagues who are charged with growing revenue from existing users brought in from the new client base. Articulate our premium brand and value proposition in a differentiated manner. Exhibit customer-centricity, content mastery and command of current trends in client end market Develop account plans for top named prospects and strategies for generating new clients. Work creatively and collaboratively across various divisions tied to our Expert Network Expansion efforts, including Client Development, Client Delivery, Business Development, Marketing — to accelerate sales cycle and close new business with consulting clients. Liaise closely with our SVP of Strategic Growth & Development and our VP of Growth & Operations on business development efforts tied to our expert network services. You will collaborate with InnovateMR+Ivy Exec’s centralized Business Development Leaders. Benefits

3+ years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience. 2+ years of experience in a business development role at an expert network, preferably selling to consulting clients and/or PE firms who are seeking insights for corporate strategy, strategic due diligence, and/or new market assessment. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing client accounts from the ground up Deep understanding of the consulting and/or PE landscape and the role of insights in client workflows Strong consultative selling skills and ability to position complex service offerings Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for identifying and acting on new opportunities Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment Seniority level
