Role Overview
One of the top performance marketing firms, powered by collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to developing top talent, unites leading thinkers in digital and direct marketing to deliver integrated, data-driven solutions that move the needle for growth-focused brands. They’re seeking a Director of Business Development to drive new-logo revenue, expanding strategic accounts, and selling the agency’s full performance marketing portfolio. Base Pay Range
$150,000–$175,000 per year Key Responsibilities
Drive over $1mm in annual net-new revenue
across performance/digital marketing offerings. Prospect, qualify, and convert new logos
through targeted outreach, inbound lead qualification, networking, and industry engagement. Lead the full sales cycle
from sourcing to pitch to contract—partnering with strategy, creative, media, analytics, and marketing teams to support winning proposals. Develop integrated solutions
that combine digital, CRM, direct mail, creative, and customer intelligence capabilities. Build and maintain senior-level relationships
(CMOs, VPs, Heads of Marketing), positioning the Agency as a strategic partner. Conduct QBRs and collaborate on cross-sell opportunities
to grow existing accounts while supporting long-term client success. Create compelling decks and scopes of work , working closely with marketing and sales enablement. Use CRM rigorously —maintaining pipeline hygiene, forecasting accurately, and delivering weekly activity/revenue reporting. Represent the Agency externally
through trade shows, networking events, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership. Required Experience
10–15+ years selling performance/digital marketing services
in an agency or consulting environment. Proven track record generating $750K–$1MM+ in annual fees
from new business. Deep experience selling into senior marketers
with a strong POV across SEO, paid media, CRM/email, direct mail, analytics, and integrated marketing. Demonstrated success driving the full sales process —prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing complex deals. Preferred Experience
Established network and thought leadership positioning
within B2B, eCommerce, Retail, and/or other Consumer brand verticals. Experience with cross-channel marketing programs , customer segmentation, and data-driven targeting. Skills & Qualities
Confident, polished communicator able to lead high-level strategic conversations. Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and to build business independently. Skilled at developing sales narratives, proposals, and presentations. Comfortable partnering across strategy, media, creative, analytics, and marketing. Salary and Benefits
Base salary $150,000–$175,000 annually, based on experience. Uncapped commissions on net fees. Full benefits suite. Seniority Level
