Overview
Sr. GTM Strategy & Operations Manager at Docusign. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, GTM Strategy & Operations. You will be a highly visible and independent thought leader helping scale the Sales Strategy & Ops team. You will work on topics ranging from transformational sales strategy to the nuts and bolts of sales operations, using analytical insight, strong business acumen, and cross-functional partnerships with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and other functions. You will work closely with Sales Leadership to set sales strategy and provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and insights.
Responsibilities
Lead quantitative projects end-to-end, ensuring cross-team collaboration
Define and drive cross-functional strategic projects focused on improving our go-to-market (GTM) engine
Conduct research and analysis on revenue, customer trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to support decision-making
Bring thought leadership and strategic thinking to projects ranging from go-to-market design to internal operations
Optimize GTM strategy including core sales processes, productivity drivers, infrastructure and segment performance
Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences
Use analytics and data intuition to deliver insights on actions that influence net retention rates
Stay up-to-date with industry trends in data analytics and Sales
Develop and deliver presentations to senior leaders and executives
Operate with a high degree of autonomy
Assist with ad hoc requests and projects from the sales organization
Conceive and deliver new and novel ways of achieving business results, enhancing organizational and team performance, results and productivity
Help business leaders meet their revenue, market share and other targets and KPIs in the fastest, most effective and efficient manner
What you bring Basic
BS/BA degree or equivalent in work experience
12+ years of experience in a Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Consulting, Investment Banking role or equivalent
Experience with Salesforce.com, PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with data visualization tools e.g. Tableau
Experience working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Preferred
Sales Strategy Operations experience working closely with Sales Leadership
Ability to interact with and influence all levels from ICs to executives
Prior exposure to high-growth work environments, and a strong understanding of SaaS business models and go-to-market principles are all highly desirable
Excellent at articulating vision and executing projects
Comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment
High degree of intellectual curiosity and self confidence
Well-developed ability to bring structured thinking into highly ambiguous and open-ended problem situations, then drive to consensus
Compensation & Benefits
Wage Transparency
- Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. California: $157,500.00 - $254,350.00 base salary
Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
